July Update:
A word from Bob
Voodoo Supporters, I would like to take a moment to let everyone know why we had to cancel our scheduled flight testing at PRS. In our last video we told you that we were getting close to installing one of our two race engines to test it with race fuel, race power at PRS. During the test cell running of the engine we discovered a defect in the nose case that required it to be disassembled and machined to repair this defect. At that time all of our efforts had been placed in getting this (Panther Pink) engine ready. The second engine (Green Monster) which was the one that we ran last year was not close enough to being ready as our emphases was on the new Pink one. At the last minute we decided it would not benefit us to run the Merlin rodded engine on the course as it was just not feasible to bring everything up to Reno for a week of slow flying.
We are getting everything back on track and we will test the engines prior to September in the local area. We still plan on being in Reno in September with three engines for racing, two Allison rodded and one Merlin rodded .
